Where It All Began

More Than Dance Classes

Jehò Dance Group was created to fill a gap in the Albanian community in Albany, NY, by providing a place to learn, experience, and preserve the traditions and folklore of a country that may be small in size, but is incredibly rich in both its tangible and intangible cultural heritage. A traditional scarf, a little music, and hands joined together are all it takes to create a truly magical experience rooted in ancient traditions.

That magic becomes even more meaningful when our folklore is passed on from one generation to the next. Join us in discovering, experiencing, and celebrating some of the most beloved Albanian folk dances, while helping preserve the traditions of our homeland for years to come.
